Softball Recap: 15 Straight Home Wins for Chestnut Ridge

Chestnut Ridge had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They blew past the Huntingdon Bearcats 12-2. 12 seems to be a good number for the Lions as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Chestnut Ridge pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Huntingdon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
