Santana and El Capitan are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Sultans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vaqueros at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. El Capitan took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Santana, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Santana turned things around against Steele Canyon on Friday. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win.

Santana never let Steele Canyon on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 27-25.

Meanwhile, El Capitan didn't have quite enough to beat Christian on Monday and fell 3-2.

El Capitan started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 24-26, 25-23, 25-20, 15-12.

El Capitan's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Santana, their victory bumped their record up to 7-10.
