Pitman won the last time they faced Enochs and Mason Helwick did his part to make sure it happened again. The Pride came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 31-24 on Friday for which the team can thank Helwick, who rushed for 265 yards and two TDs while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. He has become a key player for Pitman: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

Pitman now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Enochs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pitman is set to challenge their familiar foe Gregori at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Enochs will square off against rival Downey at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
