Football Recap: Sheldon Huskies vs. Sierra Timberwolves
Sheldon entered their contest against Sierra on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Sheldon Huskies fell 24-14 to the Sierra Timberwolves. The matchup was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Huskies couldn't quite close it out.
Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zion Johnson, who picked up 125 receiving yards and a touchdown. Pleasant Grove has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 118 points over their last three matches. As for Sierra, they will host East Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Union's defense has only allowed 18 points per game this season, so Sierra's offense will have their work cut out for them.
