Football Recap: C4 E Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for C4 E's offense. They took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cincinnati on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, C4 E's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jordan Jacobson produced another solid performance rushing for 137 yards and two TDs for Cincinnati. Cincinnati is undefeated when Jacobson posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

C4 E's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Cincinnati, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, C4 E will host Noblesville L at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Cincinnati, they are taking a road trip to square off against Columbus Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cincinnati will need to watch out since Columbus Crusaders has now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests.
