Softball Recap: D'Iberville Gets the Win

D'Iberville won the last time they faced Bryant and things went their way on Saturday too. The D'Iberville Warriors came out on top against the Bryant Hurricanes by a score of 6-1.

Emerson Hall was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Hall was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Raegan Dellenger was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in stolen bases. Annah Niceley also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

D'Iberville's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Bryant, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, D'Iberville will be playing in front of their home fans against South Panola at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bryant, they will take on Faith Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
