Soccer Game Preview: O'Farrell Charter vs. High Tech CV

The O'Farrell Charter Falcons will venture away from home to challenge the High Tech CV Bruins at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. O'Farrell Charter will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

O'Farrell Charter will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Chula Vista Learning Community Charter, who they had gone 0-7-1 against in their eight prior meetings. The Falcons walked away with a 3-1 win over the Cobras on Tuesday. Ela Barrera had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble O'Farrell Charter got from the refs.

O'Farrell Charter hit Chula Vista Learning Community Charter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jocelyn Romo, Osiris Moreno, and Yuvia Robateau Rivera.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for High Tech CV's offense. They lost 4-0 to San Ysidro on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for High Tech CV in their meetings with San Ysidro: they've now lost five in a row.

High Tech CV's loss dropped their record down to 0-10-2. As for O'Farrell Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0-3.

O'Farrell Charter got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in January against High Tech CV by a conclusive 6-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
