Baseball Recap: San Miguel Takes a Loss

San Miguel lost against St. Augustine Catholic back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vipers came up short against the Wolves, falling 17-1. The Vipers' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

San Miguel's record now sits at 1-12. As for St. Augustine Catholic, they moved to 4-13 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. San Miguel is set to take on their familiar foe Bisbee at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, St. Augustine Catholic will challenge rival Benson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing isn't great for the Wolves: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while the Bobcats have snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.
