Softball Recap: Logan Wildcats vs. Scott Skyhawks

Logan entered their tilt with Scott with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Scott Skyhawks on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Logan also won the last time the pair played back in April.

Myleigh Adkins made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Adkins has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Adkins was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.

In other pitching news, Logan got a great performance from Charlie Albright as she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Albright has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in four consecutive pitching appearances.
