The Fort Bend Willowridge Eagles''s five-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They blew past Dayton 56-22 on the road. The win was just what Fort Bend Willowridge needed coming off of a 42-14 defeat in their prior matchup.
Despite the loss, Dayton still got an impressive performance from Dawson Victorian, who picked up 113 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Fort Bend Willowridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Dayton, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
Fort Bend Willowridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Santa Fe at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Santa Fe is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Dayton, they will head out on the road to face off against Fort Bend Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Bend Marshall is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
