Basketball Game Preview: Xaverian Clippers vs. Archbishop Molloy Stanners

Xaverian and Archbishop Molloy are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2016, but not for long. The Xaverian Clippers will be playing at home against the Archbishop Molloy Stanners at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Sunday, Xaverian came up short against Christ the King and fell 60-53. The Clippers have struggled against the Royals recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Molloy was just a bucket shy of victory on Sunday and fell 84-83 to Wings Academy.

Archbishop Molloy now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Xaverian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Xaverian was able to grind out a solid victory over Archbishop Molloy in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 58-50. Will Xaverian repeat their success, or does Archbishop Molloy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
