Basketball Recap: Monticello Comes Up Short

Monticello was the 49-44 winner over Williams Bay when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Monticello Ponies took a 43-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Williams Bay Bulldogs.

Monticello has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Williams Bay, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-15 record.

Monticello has already played their next match, a 70-58 win against Juda on the 4th. As for Williams Bay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-46 loss against Palmyra-Eagle on the 4th.
