Soccer Recap: Fairless Triumphs

Fairless kept a clean sheet against New Philadelphia on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Quakers. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Fairless were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Cali Kammer, who's now up to seven this season.

Fairless' win bumped their record up to 7-4-4. As for New Philadelphia, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Fairless will square off against Tuslaw at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for New Philadelphia, they will face off against Minerva at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Minerva will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something New Philadelphia surely won't give up without a fight.
