Basketball Recap: Glasgow Takes a Loss

Glasgow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 53-37 bruising from the McKean Highlanders. The Dragons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Highlanders earlier this season, when they won 62-58.

McKean's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jasmine Sessoms, who went 8 of 19 on her way to 20 points along with eight boards and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Ma'Hasa Wilson, who posted 12 points.

Glasgow's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for McKean, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glasgow will face off against ASPIRA Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for McKean, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Odessa at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. McKean has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
