First Baptist Academy had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They strolled past the Southwest Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 52-34. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Eagles are ranked 466th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

First Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Southwest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
