For the second straight game, Cienega will face off against Desert View. The Bobcats will face off against the Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cienega is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Cienega faced off against Desert View on Tuesday. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 13-3 win. Considering the Bobcats have won 19 matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Maya Fimbres looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cienega let Kay Morel and Katie Lutton run wild. Morel went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Lutton went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Morel has posted since back in March. Sicily Waller was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Cienega was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. They are a perfect 18-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Cienega has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Desert View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Desert View's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Cienega has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Desert View, though, as they've been averaging only 3.5 strikeouts. Will Cienega keep running through batters, or will the Jaguars buck the trend?
