Basketball Recap: Polk County Comes Up Short

Polk County lost against Roane County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Polk County Wildcats came up short against the Roane County Yellowjackets, falling 61-35.

Polk County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Roane County, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Polk County will venture away from home to challenge Sequoyah at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Roane County, they will head out to take on Sweetwater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
