Volleyball Recap: Appleton West Takes a Loss

Appleton West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cedarburg Bulldogs.

Appleton West's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Cedarburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-9 record this season.

Appleton West will challenge Notre Dame Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cedarburg, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Appleton North on the 18th.
