Roaring Fork has gone 8-2 against Gunnison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Roaring Fork Rams will head out on the road to take on the Gunnison Cowboys at 1:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Roaring Fork will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Grand Valley, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Roaring Fork claimed a resounding 74-32 win over Grand Valley. The Rams pushed the score to 56-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cardinals had no chance of recovering from.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Gunnison on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Aspen out of the water with a 40-10 final score. The victory was nothing new for the Cowboys as they're now sitting on four straight.

Roaring Fork better keep an eye on Sienna Gomez. She was instrumental in Gunnison's win, dropping a double-double with ten points and ten boards. Gomez is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games she's played. Yaslin Hernandez was another key player, putting up six points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Roaring Fork's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points over those games. As for Gunnison, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Roaring Fork was able to grind out a solid win over Gunnison when the teams last played on February 8th, winning 54-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Roaring Fork since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
