Football Recap: Eagle Ridge Academy Takes a Loss

Eagle Ridge Academy might've scored the first points on Saturday, but it was Regis Groff who claimed the real prize. The Warriors were just a hair shy of victory and fell 13-12 to the Fusion. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Fusion 12-0 in the first quarter.

Eagle Ridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Regis Groff, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eagle Ridge Academy will head out to face off against Overland at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Regis Groff, they will square off against Bear Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
