Baseball Recap: Mosley Victorious

Mosley won the last time they faced Marianna and things went their way on Friday too. The Dolphins came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dolphins.

Mosley got a great performance from Hunter Bolinger as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave Bolinger a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on CJ Harris, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

Mosley's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Marianna, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mosley is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Bay at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marianna, they will head out to face off against Bozeman at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The game will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
