Baseball Recap: Elgin Comets vs. Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets

On Tuesday, while Elgin put up some runs, the same can't be said for Cory-Rawson. The Elgin Comets blew past the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets 10-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Elgin.

Not much got past Brody Wood, who gave up just three hits to keep Cory-Rawson off the board.

At the plate, Elgin let Mitchell Askew and Donaven Stith loose on the outfield. Askew scored three runs while going 1-for-3, while Stith scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Quientin Harrison, who went 1-for-4 with a stolen base, a double, and an RBI.
