Triton Central piles up the points against Morristown

Recap: Triton Central Tigers vs. Morristown Yellow Jackets

The Triton Central Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season. They blew past Morristown, posting a 52-22 win on the road. Given Triton Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Morristown is ranked 304th), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Brooklyn Bailey, who scored 25 points along with eight rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maryrose Felling, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.

The win was the third in a row for Triton Central, bringing their record for this year to 14-3. As for Morristown, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Triton Central is on the road again on Tuesday and play against New Palestine at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. As for Morristown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully North Decatur focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Thursday.
