Pine Bluff has gone a perfect 7-0 against Parkview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Zebras will look to defend their home field against the Patriots at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pine Bluff came up short against Hot Springs on Tuesday, falling 14-4. The loss continues a trend for the Zebras in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 17-1 to Sylvan Hills.

Parkview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendall Wright, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Wright's first of the season.

Parkview's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Pine Bluff, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
