Volleyball Recap: Emorie Kaiser and Trinity Burchett Secure Win for Fossil Ridge

On Saturday Fossil Ridge's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Horizon Huskies. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the SaberCats have posted since August 21st.

Fossil Ridge was led to victory by Trinity Burchett and Emorie Kaiser. Burchett had 14 digs and one assist, while Kaiser had three aces. Those three aces gave Kaiser a new career-high.

Fossil Ridge's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Horizon, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Fossil Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Sunrise Mountain on the 27th. As for Horizon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Owyhee on the 27th.
