Tri-Point hadn't done well against Blue Ridge recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Chargers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Knights 2-1. This was payback for the Chargers, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lexa Porth paced Tri-Point's offense, picking up 12 kills. Porth got some help from Rachel Darda and her 20 assists. Adriana Hummel controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Tri-Point's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Blue Ridge, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Tri-Point has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Ridgeview on the 20th. As for Blue Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against LeRoy on the 22nd.
