McDonell Central and Regis squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but McDonell Central had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Ramblers. The Macks' loss signaled the end of their 38-game winning streak.

McDonell Central was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Regis work for it, especially in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 20-25, 27-25.

McDonell Central's defeat dropped their record down to 43-3. As for Regis, they have been performing well recently as they've won 18 of their last 22 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-9 record this season.

McDonell Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Regis, they will square off against Clear Lake on Saturday.
