If Making Waves Academy was riding high fresh off their 41-17 takedown of Richmond on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Marlins were beaten by the Redwood Christian Eagles 87-40 on Tuesday. The Marlins have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Making Waves Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Redwood Christian, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
