River Valley had won seven straight games and Carter Myers did his part to make it eight on Tuesday. The River Valley Vikings took down the Highland Fighting Scots 56-41 thanks in part to Myers, who went 8 of 11 en route to 20 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Owen Osting was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last eight games he's played.

Highland's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Toby Rogers, who posted 11 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Owen X. Winkelfoos, who had nine points.

River Valley's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Highland, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
