Aledo waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Fossil Ridge Panthers with a sharp 11-2 victory. The Bearcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

TEMPE PERRY was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). That's the fewest hits she has allowed over her last five games. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, MARINA TAVERAS was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. JORDYN EDINGTON also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Aledo kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fossil Ridge only managed four hits.
