Baseball Recap: Cardinal Takes a Loss

Cardinal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-0 to the Kirtland Hornets. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Cardinal's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kirtland, the victory was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cardinal will face off against Mathews at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kirtland, they will square off against South at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are facing the Rebels at the right time seeing as the Rebels are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
