Suburban - White recap September 10, 2013
North Kansas City was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to third in Suburban - White. The Hornets defeated Oak Park 56-0 earlier in the week.
Staley was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Raytown. The Falcons came in at 20 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Staley's Jordan Robben and Ryan Pierce have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Robben has thrown for 256 yards this season, while Pierce has 10 catches for 110 yards. Ezra Vaoifi from Fort Osage leads the league in rushing with 555 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when North Kansas City takes on the Bluejays. The Hornets are in third place, while Raytown is in fourth place.
Belton scaled the state rankings by moving to 186 from 216 this week, the biggest jump in Suburban - White. The Pirates climbed the ranks as a result of losing to Nixa 28-14.
