There's no place like home for Graham-Kapowsin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Bethel Bison by a score of 4-1 on Wednesday. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Graham-Kapowsin's record is now 6-4. As for Bethel, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Graham-Kapowsin is set to square off against their familiar foe Rogers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2.6, the Rams 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Bethel will take on rival South Kitsap at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
