Monroe extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 13-8 in the process. They didn't even let the East Troy Trojans on the board, marking the Cheesemakers' second-straight 1-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 on Tuesday.

As for East Troy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-8. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

For East Troy's part, Seth Lingford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up seven Ks. Lingford has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Monroe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Troy, they will welcome Wilmot at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
