Soccer Recap: Bernstein Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Bernstein was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Marshall Barristers who were credited with the victory. The Marshall Barristers got it done in the shootout by posting eight goals to the Bernstein Dragons' seven.

Bernstein's goal came courtesy of Ivan Palma, who's now up to 12 this season.

Bernstein's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Marshall, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Bernstein will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Belmont at 4:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Marshall has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Palisades on the 28th.
