Pickens put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 62-54 win over the Johnson Atomsmashers. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Atomsmashers are ranked 305th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Johnson still got an impressive performance from Samuel Priester, who made all 6 shots he took for 17 points and three steals. Those 17 points gave Priester a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Quentin James, who posted 13 points and five rebounds.

Pickens' victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Johnson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Pickens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 63-41 win against Groves on the 31st. As for Johnson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-48 defeat against Darlington on the 31st.
