Volleyball Recap: Waukesha North Takes a Loss

Waukesha North suffered their biggest loss since August 28th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions. If the Northstars were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Waukesha North ultimately came up short, they really made New Berlin Eisenhower work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-13, 25-23.

Sophia Hultman paced Waukesha North's offense, picking up 13 kills. Hultman got some help from Lexi Christie and her 12 assists. Finally, Lauren Rees kept Waukesha North's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Waukesha North has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for New Berlin Eisenhower, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Waukesha North will take on rival New Berlin West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, New Berlin Eisenhower is set to square off against their familiar foe Waukesha South at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
