Basketball Recap: Cimarron Takes a Loss

Cimarron made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Colby, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bluejays fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 42-39 on Friday. The Bluejays have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Cimarron's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Colby, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Cimarron and Colby will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Bluejays see the court they'll take on Dodge City at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2026. As for Colby, their break will end when they face Larned on January 2, 2026.
