Soccer Recap: Hand Takes a Loss

Hand was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Shelton Gaels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hand of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Hand's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Shelton, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4-3 and their overall record up to 2-7-4.

Coming up, Hand will host Law at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shelton, they will venture away from home to face off against Hamden at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
