Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask North). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the South Spartans 57-0. Given the Stars' advantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 305th, while the Spartans are ranked 739th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
North's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Robert Rodriguez, who rushed for 103 yards and two  TDs on only nine carries, and also picked up 55 receiving yards.incredibly,  Rodriguez got all that yardage with just one huge  grab Another pass catcher making a difference was  Mika Lencioni, who gained 119 total yards and two touchdowns.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: North was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 306  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 156  rushing yards in eight consecutive  contests.
North pushed their record up to 7-2 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 39.8 points over those games. As for South,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-8.
