Basketball Recap: Chamberlain Takes a Loss

Chamberlain played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Gregory Gorillas 74-46. The defeat continues a trend for the Cubs in their matchups with the Gorillas: they've now lost three in a row.

Cruz Klundt had an outrageously good game for Gregory as he went 9 of 14 en route to 25 points and seven steals. That's the most steals Klundt has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Colt Keiser, who went 7 of 8 on his way to 14 points.

Chamberlain's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Gregory, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Chamberlain will head out to square off against Parkston at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gregory, they will host Colome at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
