Basketball Recap: Hesperia Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

It's playoff time, and Hesperia had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Elsinore Tigers 77-62 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Scorpions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Elsinore lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kamrynn Nathan, who posted 18 points and six boards. The contest was his 12th in a row with at least 18 points. Nasir Bates was another key player, going 8-for-18 en route to 19 points.

Hesperia's victory bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Elsinore, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 29-1.

Hesperia has already played their next game, a 55-53 win against Rancho Verde on the 17th. Elsinore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
