On Friday, Rahway had to settle for second even though Andrew Avent put up the best numbers he has all season. Avent rushed for 362 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.3 rushing touchdowns per game.

Avent and Rahway will host Watchung Hills Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
