Baseball Recap: Aidan Gomez's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Agua Fria over Flagstaff

Agua Fria fell victim to Flagstaff and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Flagstaff Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Owls in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost seven in a row.

Agua Fria saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Gomez, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Agua Fria's record now sits at 1-7. As for Flagstaff, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Agua Fria will challenge Prescott at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Prescott will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Flagstaff, they will take on Estrella Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
