Softball Preview: Emery Spartans vs. Canyon View Falcons

The Emery Spartans will take on the Canyon View Falcons at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Emery is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let American Leadership Academy onto the board and left with a 17-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Emery.

The team relied heavily on Katelyn Nielson, who went 3-for-3 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI. Rheagan Rhoten was another key contributor, going 3-for-3 with four RBI and a double.

Meanwhile, Canyon View won against Richfield on Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Canyon View put the hurt on Juab with a sharp 10-2 win. The victory was nothing new for Canyon View as they're now sitting on three straight.
