Volleyball Recap: Tomahawk Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tomahawk suffered their biggest loss since September 9th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Mosinee Indians. The defeat continues a trend for the Hatchets in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Tomahawk still got an impressive performance from Shelby Borowski, who had 15 assists and eight digs. Borowski has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 11 times she's played. Jessica Gebauer also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Payton Allen was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs and three assists. Another player making a difference was Kyndal Schlei, who had four digs and three aces.

Tomahawk now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Mosinee, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Tomahawk will square off against rival Northland Pines at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mosinee is set to challenge their familiar foe Antigo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
