Softball Recap: Pearl City Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Pearl City's victory against West Carroll wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolves narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Thunder 4-2. The victory was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Jorja Johnson, who went 2-for-4 with two triples and two runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Scarlett Snyder was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Pearl City's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for West Carroll, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 18 of their last 20 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-24 record this season.

Pearl City will challenge Lena-Winslow at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
