Basketball Preview: Cleveland Rams vs. Willow Spring Storm

Cleveland has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Willow Spring Storm at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Cleveland will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 234th, while the Storm are ranked 29th).

Last Wednesday, Cleveland came up short against the Pirates and fell 49-41.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Nevaeh Cannon, who scored 16 points along with six steals. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Angelia Dunn, who scored 14 points along with four steals.

Cleveland struggled to work together and finished the game with only two assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Willow Spring entered their tilt with the Titans with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Willow Spring managed a 59-54 victory over the Titans on Friday.

Cleveland has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season. As for Willow Spring, their win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3.
