Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hayden walked away with it. They came out on top against the Paola Panthers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Hailey Schmidtlein paced Hayden's offense, picking up 15 kills. Schmidtlein got some help from Blakely Walter and her 29 assists.

Hayden's win bumped their record up to 32-9. As for Paola, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 27-10.

Hayden has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Andale on the 1st. As for Paola, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Clay Center on the 1st.
