Baseball Recap: Lake Quinault Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lake Quinault put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 22-6 margin over the Mary M. Knight Owls. That 16 run margin sets a new team best for the Elks this season.

Lake Quinault's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Mary M. Knight, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Lake Quinault and Mary M. Knight will both be playing Wishkah Valley the next time they take the field. The Elks will head out to face the Loggers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Owls will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
